Every good canvas starts with the right size. These clean circles and squares are the sizes that come up again and again in needlepoint.
Print at 100% (Actual Size), not "Fit to Page." To confirm, measure a shape after printing — a 2-inch square should be exactly 2 inches across. Card stock makes a sturdier, reusable template, but regular paper works beautifully too.
Ways to use them: outline an existing canvas to plan borders and spacing; design your own mini sampler; test a design's size before you stitch it; and plan finishing shapes — ornaments, coasters, inserts, and rounds.
